since the HHS--HawHaitiSamoa Sagas. We have just finished hosting 3 Hawaiians who mean the world to us: Maurine who we hav known since 1967 and has been teaching at HBA for 50 years; George and Pearl who have shared manhy mission trips to VN and Cambodia; what a blessing to have them here in New Bern and Fayetteville meeitng up agian with John Fox and Jay Currin, and Evelyn Gardner who spent many years in Hawaii and knows or knew many mutual friends there. Ernestine Newman called and spoke to them, and James and Shelton sent their alohas. Many of the 2008 team Kauai sadly missed a chance to reconnect, maybe summer in so busy.
I had good talks with them esp George as his pastoral experience was needed by mu as I am praying for the Lord's guidance and wisdom for a program if it His Will. 2 main considerations are paramount: Do I really have a personal relationship to My Savior; and I am willing to give up my old sinful life and change to follow Him??
I know that a program is what I need but is it what He wants for me and others that I want to help??
Shirley will also have to be in on this and I will need her talents and time; I wil need others who have the same focus but bring leadership qualities. More later; much prayer is needed.
